We had a great time over the weekend as more than 70 of us joined together for our Church Weekend at Home.

On Saturday morning we received some wonderful teaching on the theme of Hope, from Rev Charlie Butler, and it was great to hear people's questions and reflections afterwards. We then gathered in the Rectory Garden for a delicious hog roast lunch. In the afternoon many enjoyed time just to sit and chat, while others joined in with some wonderful art and craft activities. The more adventurous went off to play rounders at St Thomas' field. We rounded off the day with afternoon tea together.

On Sunday morning we held a Joint Benefice Service, where Charlie continued our sermon series in Revelation. It was then back over to the Rectory Garden for a Fellowship Lunch. It was wonderful to have this extended time together over the weekend, to enjoy worship, teaching, good food and friendship.

You can also watch the 2 Saturday morning sessions in Church below and catch up on the Sunday service on our Youtube channel https://youtu.be/BU_IMgJhXDo

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped out. You made the weekend really special.
