I'M NEW

"Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone."  Ephesians 2:19-20

If you are new to St. James' please do introduce yourself to those around you and to one of the ministry team. We'd be glad to meet you! If you make your home with us, and would like to get more involved in some way, just have a word with the Rector or one of the Churchwardens. We exist as a church to lead people of all ages into a living and enduring relationship with Jesus Christ.

What to Expect from our Services

BEFORE

A welcoming smile on arrival.

We always have someone at the entrance to make you feel at home and help you with anything you may be unsure of.

DURING

Prayer, Praise, & Worship

Through the month our services vary in some respects. The music, for example, includes both traditional hymns and newer songs. But other things always remain the same. Together, we will be called to worship, to confess our sins, invited to respond in faith and obedience, and commissioned to follow Christ in our lives. You can find out more on our Services page.

AFTER

Refreshment & Chat

There's always an opportunity to meet and catch up with others after a Sunday service, with refreshments provided. At our Breakfast Church and Tea Time services, there's also a meal to share in together.
