In St Leonard’s we believe that the message of Jesus Christ is Good News for everyone! We aim to make that good news known by our words, by our actions, and by our life together as a community.  We're a small and friendly village church. Everyone is welcome, and we aim to cater for a variety of tastes with services that vary according to a pattern through the month.

As we move into the Autumn, please expect the following at St Leonard’s services:

  • We encourage everyone attending a service to wear a face covering or mask (unless exempt). This way we can continue to protect each other and help everyone to feel confident about coming to church.

  • Please continue to use hand sanitiser as you enter and exit the church.

  • If you have been scanning the QR code to check in as you arrive at the church, please continue to do so. We also make a note of service attendees for Track and Trace purposes.

  • We are maintaining some socially distanced seating in church, for those people who might prefer to stay socially distanced from those outside their family group or bubble.

  • Our arrangements for the administration of Holy Communion will remain the same for now, with just the bread being administered to those taking communion.

  • We ask that everyone wears a mask while singing.  Those who are exempt from wearing a mask are welcome to sing, if they first make sure that they are socially distanced from other members of the congregation.

As we gain confidence, our practices will evolve from this point. Thank you for your assistance in continuing to help protect each other.
