Last week 5th to 9th December we held our seventh annual Christmas Tree Festival and it was our biggest and most visited one yet! We had 68 trees displayed, each representing either a church, a church organisation, a school, a civic organisation or a charity and each tree is dressed to tell the story of that organisation.
Over £2,500 was raised by the event which will be split between the Storehouse Foodbank, Mothers' Union Literacy Programme and Stand By Me (a charity supporting needy children across the world).
Thank you to everyone who took part and visited. I'm sure you'll agree it was a wonderful display.
The festival is organised by members of the Mothers' Union on behalf of the church, led by Dilys Beckett.
