COVID-19
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
Keeping Our Congregation Safe
As restrictions are slowing lifted our main concern remains the safety of our community. We have therefore put the following safety measures in place.
Our church is well equipped with hand sanitiser which everyone will be asked to use on the way in, and seating will be marked out to ensure safe distancing. At this time you must wear a mask in the church unless you are exempt . If you wish, please feel free to bring your own Bible. We will hear pre-recorded hymns, but we will not be singing. If numbers coming to St James' exceed capacity, then we will have safely spaced seating in the church hall, to which the service will be streamed live. For those who wish to stay at home we are live-streaming most of our service with the option to watch again on our YouTube Channel.

You can watch the video below of measures in place and we also have this wonderful booklet 'Church Reopening Social Story' for you to read. Please note this video was made after the first lockdown back in 2020 so some of the information may not be correct.
