The People’s Prophet was the title of our Holy Week play this year. It focussed on some of the people who were a part of Jesus’ life and those who influenced his final days.
Working on the play the cast come together, in fellowship, to rehearse and look in depth at Jesus’ final week. We explore each scene and look at what it might have felt like to be there and to be a part of it.
We had wonderful pieces of music, specially chosen, to highlight each scene. Every cast
member lifted their voice, to project the characters they were playing. It made each
performance very special.
We had so many people coming to see our performances from the many different churches in Trowbridge, as well as friends and family. Instead of buying tickets we ask, if people are able, to contribute to a retiring collection. This year we raised £562 which will be divided equally between two local charities.
