March of Witness

The streets of Trowbridge were filled with the sound of singing, bible readings, prayers and the Salvation Army Band this Good Friday morning when 100's of people gathered in remembrance and thanksgiving for the sacrifice made for us all upon the cross. Organised by CATA (Christian Action in the Trowbridge area) the march was preceded by a joint church service at St James'. The procession started at Sainsburys before moving its way through the town centre and reaching its final destination in front of the war memorial in the park.

The event was followed by a quiet reflective service at St James'.

He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
