SUNDAYS:

All Age Services – 1st Sunday of the Month

On the first Sunday of the month we all join together for worship in the Church at 10.45am.

Tea Time ServiceTea Time Services – 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the Month
On the second and third Sunday of the month we have our Tea Time services at 4:30pm, particularly geared up for families with children and young people of all ages.  Tea Time involves around 30 minutes of lively, action-packed worship with a Bible story, and then tea together.  Once a year we have our famous Palm Sunday Tea Time service with real donkeys!

Breakfast ChurchBreakfast Church – 4th Sunday of the Month
On the fourth Sunday of the month, it’s our Breakfast Service in the hall.  We start at 8.45am with a hearty breakfast, including bacon rolls (meat or vegetarian) as well as plenty of healthier options!  This moves into a time of worship including a Bible story, songs talk and a craft.

Seeds, and Seekers – Sunday Mornings during the 10.45 service
Apart from the first Sunday of the month, we have two groups for children on Sunday Mornings – Seeds and Seekers, both of which take pace in the hall from 10.45am.  There is also carpeted area with toys in the Church for babies and younger toddlers to play, whilst supervised by a parent or carer.  We have baby changing facilities and always seek to cater for the needs of children with special needs.

DURING THE WEEK:

St James' Mini MelodiesMini Melodies – Tuesdays in term time:
Mini Melodies is a lively music group for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Each week, this includes songs, rhymes, movement, dancing and a musical retelling of a Bible story.  As well as being designed to support children’s development, the sessions are great fun and are based around a new theme every 6 weeks (i.e. food, weather, the jungle).

St James Toddlers – Wednesdays in term timeSt James' Toddlers
All parents and carers with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are welcome to come along to our friendly and popular toddler group for a play, chat and refreshments.  We have lots of toys suitable for different ages and there is always a weekly craft activity and, for older children, a story time.   Refreshments are included.
