Brunel Manor2019We believe that the message of Jesus Christ is Good News for everyone! We aim to make that good news known by our words, by our actions, and by our life together as a community. Everyone is welcome, and the wide variety of our activities caters for all tastes. Here are some of the things that we do:

- Youth Group
- Seekers (for school-age children)
- Seeds (for toddlers)
- Mothers' Union
- Weekday Lunches (open to all)
- Soup Run each week for the homeless
- Prayer and Meditation Group
- Choir
- Bereavement Friendship Group
- Pastoral visiting
- Questions of Christian Faith courses for those who want to understand more
- Home groups for prayer, Bible Study and friendship
- Stewards group who keep the church open for visitors during the week
- Church orchestra
- Open the Book group taking Bible stories into school assemblies
- St James' Toddlers each week in term time
- Mini Melodies for toddlers each week in term time
- Flower arrangers
- Bell ringers (we have a peal of twelve bells!)

We also go away together as a church every year, alternating a day out and a weekend away.

We care about keeping children, young people and adults safe, and so we take seriously the safeguarding arrangements we have in place that follow the current guidance of the Church of England. Details of how to report any concerns are posted up in the north porch of the church and on the homepage of our website.
